Lake Arrowhead – The Local Ducks
I recently visited Lake Arrowhead for a well deserved get-a-way. The local ducks are so accustomed to the people you can almost touch them! That is, if you have food. I was able to get up close and personal with a few Mallards at the dock in the Village.

The 2009 Wag-a-Thon picture gallery is now online!
I spent most of the weekend choosing the best 225 pictures from Wag-a-Thon 2009 and after some quick touch-ups, and a brief computer crisis (all fixed now), they are ready for viewing. Click here to see them all. There are some great individual dog portraits as well as event shots for you to browse.
If you are interested, you can order 4×6 copies of any print for just $5.00 with 50% of the proceeds going to Pet Project Foundation. Thanks to everyone who came to Dana Point and made this such a special day. I am really looking forward to next year’s event.
Whoa!! Don’t FREAK OUT like this guy if you don’t see your dog here. Leave a comment below with your dog’s name and image number from the gallery and we will move that image here for everyone to see.
Dog Park Antics
I rented a fabulous lens for a weekend trip up to San Francisco from BorrowLenses.com. The Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L USM Lens is an Ultra Wide Lens, so it was a perfect choice for the trip. Our trip was not as long as the lens rental so was able to take the lens home to try it out on some dogs. Off to the dog park!
I think this lens is now on my list of must-haves.
Rocco the Rescue - Still on the leash and in training

Prado Unleashed 2009
Thank you everyone who participated in the Prado Unleashed event at Chino Prado Park. This was the first time I have been to this event and what a fantastic opportunity to meet local people and their pets. Here are just a few of the pictures taken this Saturday. To see all 100+ pictures go to “Client Proofs” in the header of our website.
**UPDATE**Found Dog in Chino Preserve (12/02/08)
Hello everyone,
My wife was out walking our pugs last night and came a cross a lost Australian Shepherd Mix. She was found on Flight Ave. near the construction fence at 8pm (12/2). She was hovering near an entrance of the construction site, which leads me to believe it may be a construction worker’s dog. She had a collar but no tags.
Once I gained her trust, she mellowed out and rolled over so I could rub her belly. She is definitely someones dog. I tried to put her in the construction site but would not stay in the gates. So she is in my custody for the time being.
We have registered her on FidoFinder.com and Lostfoundpets.us
If you have any knowledge of the owners of this dog, please comment here on the blog or contact me at andrew@pugdography.com
Please spread the word to people not on the Tetherwind mailing list.
Thank You
-Andrew Lee
UPDATE: After putting a dozen signs and sending out a mass email to the community we received no calls. So after a week we took her to the Inland Valley Humane Society Humane Society & S.P.C.A site in Pomona. Hopefully someone will adopt her.
