Thank you! I will be doing $10 mini-sessions at the event, too. I think it is a great way to meet prospective clients and their dogs. I'll definitely have to get a banner printed up and will bring lots of prints and product examples with me. I'm checking out the 123print site right now! And believe me, I'll be dragging along family to help me out! Thank you for the tips! I'll let you know how it goes!

Hi Emilee! I'm so glad you like our site. Yours is great too. Well, we did learn quite a bit this last weekend and I am happy to pass it on.

The main thing you want to showcase in your booth is your work. We found out that the pictures are what really bring people in. Blown up prints, coffee table books, whatever. Everyone loved looking at the pics and gave us the opportunity to get to know them and their fur babies.

We also printed a banner with large photographs on it. We had it printed through 123Print.com and it turned out awesome...and it was only $29.95. What a deal! They are pretty quick too.

We also did on-site mini photo shoots for $10, with all proceeds going to Pugs N' Pals (the charity that put the event on). This was a little bit challenging logistics-wise, but in the end turned out excellent because it gave us the chance to get to know everyone that ordered pics! Plus, it gave us something tangible to sell at our booth.

And one last thing...don't forget have reinforcements with you to watch your booth when you get tired and need to eat. It was a lot of work, but so worth it. Let's just say we all slept really good Saturday night. I'm sure you will have great success and learn lots too. Let us know how it goes.

I just came across your site and I really love your work. After seeing all of these pug shots, I really want a pug! I'll be having a booth at an event in November, for the first time. Do you have any tips for preparing for an event? What things would you say are most necessary to bring to make your booth really stand out?
